Seeking employment or career advancement as a Security Officer?

Look no further we’ve got you covered.

If you are seeking employment or career advancement as a Security Officer, Armed or Unarmed, work for one of the largest integrated cash distribution network (i.e. BRINKS), transport prisoners, asset protection, Celebrity protection, and many more; often times you are required to have obtained a state required license, or Statewide firearm license and other training; depends on the state.

Regardless of which area you choose to work in, often times experience through education or work history are highly recommended or required. Urgent Response Security & Safety Training offers state mandated- training as well as none-state mandated training.

The two licenses that are required for an armed and unarmed security officer are “D” and “G’ licenses. The “D” allows a security officer to work without a firearm; unlike the “G” which allows security officers to be armed on the client’s premises where firearm is required or/and part of the contractual agreement.

In order to obtain one of the aforementioned licenses, Florida state requires that you submit proof of successful completion of a minimum of 40 hours of professional training provided by a Security Officer School or Training Facility Licensed by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and/or 28 hours of range and classroom training pertaining to the use of firearms. Training must be provided by a licensed Class “K” Firearms Instructor.

At Urgent Response Security & Safety Training, we go above and beyond to ensure that our recruits have full understanding about the different roles of a security officer and the importance of being a professional loyal serviceman. Our emphasis is to always serve in the highest regard, render results while serving with honor, loyalty, and trust.
